I know when I have gone one step too far when pop points to his feet and instead of saying 'good girl' he gives me the long look, until I squirm. It's my pop's way, yah see, the final warning, no words are needed. Keeping where I need to be, just lil me. When I get too big for my boots as us brits say or too big for my britches.
I am here at his request I cannot deny, I deserved it fair and square as he looked me in the eye, I had it comin, yah see, every one saw except lil me , cos my mischief grew and grew and I played I don't care pop will watch and he don't care but he does as he watches me test him with the same old game
But I do when he pulls me in line, the lip quivers as he reminds me of my place by his side, I look up in his eyes as he looks down, as I am reminded he is there to keep me safe, not just from the world but my tendancy to forget my pop does care, flipping the bird or cussing as he held up 4 fingers, he counts you see, one , two three, oh no it was four, I know he has let me dig myself a hole .
Now you see I had it comin, we both knew , it had been a while and the need inside just grew and grew, not just to feel his warm embrace but the tender loving care he shows me as he bares the place that makes me blush, the moment has come as he guides me to the place I need to be, over his knee
I whimper, as he raises his firm hand, I beg him to stop as he is sets to his task, but we both knew there is a need to follow it through, from the moment, we felt the need to re- affirm that is just a Daddy and his lil girl.
